Grace Moreno
Throughout her life, Grace Moreno has sought to reconcile her desires to both follow her wanderlust around the world by travelling and exploring different countries and cultures to finding a meaningful manner in which to positively impact the lives of others. Colombian born and Miami raised, she has lived in places as far flung as Florence, Italy and Granada, Spain but her travels have always brought her back home to her family and community in Miami. At first her attempts to reconcile her twin passions led her to working in an international travel magazine and then becoming an International Study Abroad Adviser for universities and private organizations, but after discovering Yoga while living in Northampton, Massachusetts she knew that she had found her souls path. She learned from two amazing teachers Brandon Campagnone and Naima Workman at their Baron Baptiste affiliated studio. The Baron Baptiste style, which focuses on igniting ones power and strength in order to re-connect to the truth of who we are, profoundly resonated with her because she was overcoming many personal struggles during this time. Naturally after getting back to herself, Grace felt the inspiration to want to share these gifts and so she became a certified Yoga Instructor under Fred Busch in Miami Beach, after which she attended Educating Hands School of Massage to become a Licensed Holistic Massage Therapist. Today, she impacts her community directly by helping people rediscover the wisdom and joys of attaining a healthy body, mind and spirit. Her hope is that through her teachings of Yoga and her holistic body work she is able to create a space in which others can expand their spirits, feel a deep sense of connection and reach for gentility, unity and love in the world around them.
